Winter Night, Yellow Jacket

This is a 5x7 inch (Acrylic on gessoed paper) self portrait.

This painting wass painted from my computer screen while I was talking to a friend over Skype. The night was cold but the conversation was warming. I think it makes me look like I'm living in a log-cabin somewhere, but that's not the truth of it. I live in a lovely little cottage next to a river, and the walls are just good old brick and mortar. It can be cold though. And yes, the hat did keep me warm.

This painting is available to purchase through my DailyPaintWorks site.
