The view is imaginary, but closely tuned to living in the high country above an unseen city, somewhere dry and mythical. Sometimes we stay in a place just that moment too long, and our spirit has had enough. We feel a tug as we look back on the past, or over the things we no longer have control over. And all the while the part of us that knows the way, pulls us onward to where we belong.
